tins, tins, tins!

I just discovered that my pharmacy is carrying a wide collection of tins. So I had to buy some :-)!! I especially like the little ones, which are about 4,5 x 5,5 cm. I think they would be great for little needle cases. And I´m sure I´ll find a a heart shape design for covering the heart tin.

But first I have to eat all these mint- and cough pastilles :-)!

Ja, ich habe eigentlich vor sie zu besticken. Es gibt ja viele Herzmotive, und ich denke, so eine bestickte Herzdose könnte eine schöne Geschenkidee sein. Aber wie immer, ich habe viel zu viele WIPs in Arbeit, so werde ich mich vorest mit dem Sammeln begnügen :-)!!

I made some covered tins as Christmas gifts. I added batting which made them a little bulky. How do you attach your stitching to the top?
Some tins are so unusual you hate to cover them.
